Finally gone are times of finding the balance between sportive and ecological driving. SKN offers you the possibility to decide for yourself — by means of the accelerator pedal position. ECO- Tuning75 is the innovative hybrid product by SKN. As a combination product, ECO-Tuning75 combines the consumption reduction of ECO Tuning with the power increase of Power Tuning. This is how our customers use the unique hybrid product to take advantage of both worlds. Environmental protection, consumption reduction and driving pleasure are in harmony. Your car always behaves optimally, depending on what you need. In the long term, this software optimization therefore pays off twice.
How does the ECO-Tuning75 work? Basically, ECO-Tuning75 consists of 2 subprograms and you determine which subprogram is active!
Up to 75% accelerator pedal position:
You are moving your vehicle in the partial load range. Maybe you are driving in the city, or swimming in traffic, you do not have to speed up fast. Here, only ECO Tuning is active. Compared to the series state of your vehicle, the software optimization reduces consumption by up to 20%.
75% and above accelerator position:
You want to more forward a bit faster, your car is loaded a bit more than usual, you want to take over — you need more power! No problem, because as soon as you exceed the 75% accelerator position, the performance increases and you have much more power and torque available. All of this, of course, unfolds harmoniously and progressively. Our customers especially appreciate the better dynamics in the low and medium speed range, the increase in agility and elasticity during overtaking and during acceleration.
You get chip tuning in uncompromisingly high quality. Designed for durability and longevity, there is no need for compromise at SKN. Protected with up to 6 years of Allianz warranty (manufacturer’s guarantee), proving our performance increases: “Here, quality comes at a high level. We offer the optimum, no more, but no less either”.
CONCLUSION:
“FUEL-SAVING” ECO Tuning is programmed to be active at up to 75% accelerator position (three-quarter throttle) and the “PERFORMANCE-INCREASING” Power Tuning takes over from 75% accelerator pedal position. In normal operation in the city or on countryside roads you will drive as economical as never before, since the SKN ECO Tuning supports you in saving fuel. On average, fuel savings range between 7 and 12%. In the peak, even up to 20% are possible (prerequisite: same usage, same route and same driving). If you want to take over quickly on countryside roads, when have to get from A to B fast, or just want to have fun, the programmed additional power will support you, which is set to kick in from a 75% accelerator pedal position for EXTRA DRIVE.

* All data given are target values. That is, deviations upwards or downwards are possible and can vary according to the vehicle and equipment. Deviations can be caused e.g. by the serial tolerances of the respective vehicle, the quality of the fuel used, or based on the maintenance level and the general condition of a vehicle (see Directive 80/1269/EEC: The performance of a new vehicle may deviate by +/- 5% from the manufacturer’s power rating). SKN recommends the use of high-quality fuels and lubricants for economical and performance reasons. Modifications to vehicles are generally subject to registration. In cooperation with various testing organizations, SKN offers suitable registration documents for most vehicles. These documents can be obtained from all SKN partners or online. Special programming for e.g. modified hardware or programming of sensors, entries, tuning insurance and other insurances are subject to a surcharge. During the tuning process at one of our service points, it may happen that the installed version of the customer control unit does currently not offer any access. If tuning is not feasible / meaningful for technical reasons, SKN cannot be held responsible for possible downtime, expenses or costs. We then might recommend using the SKN IPU if necessary and if available. Changes and errors reserved.
