Top satisfied
I had my Opel Astra Twintop 1,6 Turbo chipped with Ecotuning at SKN 14 years ago. Since then, I've driven about 160000 km with it and I'm very satisfied.

ECO75 tuning
Went with my Mercedes S 205 300d for optimization. More power in all speed ranges and real power from three quarter throttle. Thanks to the team, great work, would be happy to do it again

3 years Eco75 and 6 months HVO 100 - Tiguan (Series
Dear SKN Team,
I can only agree with the many positive reports. The tuning was carried out on schedule almost three years ago near Hanover, the increased power (to almost 170 hp) and above all the significantly stronger torque were immediately noticeable.
Due to the DSG adjustment, it now not only shifts manually almost immediately when you shift up or down. In gear "D" it also uses the now stronger torque and does not shift down unnecessarily early or even shifts up a little earlier (if you are not driving in a sporty manner). According to BC, consumption fell immediately on the return journey. Just over 1 liter dropped per 100 km.
Of course, this only works if you do not call for the additional service
. If you're having fun, you're unlikely to reduce your fuel consumption. Without Eco75 tuning, it would probably be even higher if you drive the same way.
I could reduce consumption even further with other measures. To put it into perspective: 95 percent of the time the car is driven in city traffic for short trips (not exactly ideal). A year before the SKN tuning, I added Liqui Moly "Cera Tec" ceramic additive to the engine oil. This reduced consumption by just over 0,5 liters per 100 km. The TDI also ran more smoothly. Above all, the unpleasant, rough engine running at around 1.500 rpm was gone when the DSG selected a high gear in the city. I was quite happy with that.
Then the SKN Eco 75 tuning. I rarely use the extra power. But it drives much more confidently with more torque and lower revs, overtaking on country roads is more relaxed and you no longer starve in the left lane on the motorway. And all of this is legal with TÜV registration in the vehicle documents. If you're in a hurry, it effortlessly pulls up to almost 210 km/h on the speedometer instead of struggling forever to get to 190. Although the Tiguan is now 3 cm higher than the standard model.
This year there were also additives from Mathy. For EGR, DPF, injection, etc. All mixed with standard B7 diesel. However, I only noticed a difference in consumption after I switched to HVO 100 and used the Mathy cleaning additives again in a second round.
Consumption values according to BC after individual measures:
Series with normal B7 diesel (7% bio in diesel), like at any gas station.
Consumption on the house plug approx. 9,5 to 10 liters of diesel
Cera Tec from Liqui Moly. Consumption approx. 9 liters (sometimes an 8 before the decimal point, which never happened before). Engine runs "smoother".
SKN Eco 75 Tuning: Consumption is usually around 7,9 according to BC, sometimes even down to 7,5. If the data is real, you will have paid off the costs after a few years, a much more dynamic car (despite the old insurance premium like with 140 HP) and still be good for your wallet and the environment.
In between, I also filled up the engine with two tanks of VPower Diesel or something similar so that the engine didn't get too dirty, but I couldn't notice any change in consumption or performance.
Used cleaning additives from Mathy (I don't doubt that they work, but my car wasn't in emergency mode yet). Consumption didn't really change measurably. But it must have done the EGR and DPF some good.
Then instead of B7 diesel, I only filled up with HVO 100. Even though the raw material is 100% organic, there is no organic in the fuel (like with premium diesel). So it's basically a B zero diesel. All the dirt that pollutes the EGR and DPF is much lower. Consumption has stayed the same, no increase. But in return, more torque (at least that's how it feels) and quieter combustion is achieved much earlier. Since the Ctan number is much higher than with B 7 diesel, at this point the question to SKN is whether the Echo 75 tuning "gets more out of" HVO than with normal diesel?
Then I used the cleaning additives from Mathy again one after the other and then the consumption was down to 7,5 liters. Sometimes 6,9. Depending on the traffic.
Since I've had great experiences with Mathy (both when doing DIY instead of WD-40 and in the manual transmission of another car, instead of being clunky, the gears slip better than ever before, but usually takes 50 to 200 km), I now have Longlife 3 motor oil and Mathy motor oil additive. Consumption has dropped again slightly. Usually around 7 liters and not infrequently a 6 in front of the decimal point. The Mathy additive is particularly effective "on the road". The engine runs more smoothly, consumption is lower (you notice that the engine brakes less when you take your foot off the gas. Only the rough running at around 1.500 rpm came back slightly. But half a bottle of Cera Tec from Liqui Moly helped with that.
In summary: Consumption has dropped by a good 100 liters per 75 km thanks to oil additives, use of HVO 3 and SKN Eco 100 tuning.
It seems to me that SKN has done such a good job that the software enables impressive fuel savings and increased performance from a friction-optimized engine (additives and oil), which is no longer completely contaminated by normal diesel, in combination with a fully synthetic and high-Ctan HVO 100 diesel. At the time, I had not expected that the result could be so impressive.
PS: The DSG gearbox was properly flushed and completely filled with new oil (not just mixed in like VW) and also filled with a Mathy additive. The same applies to the Achso oil at the front and rear (without additive).
The consumption is hardly higher than that of a new car, theoretically the climate is polluted by 90% less CO2, the engine is much less dirty and runs more quietly and powerfully than ever before. All of this is legal and registered. Because the consumption has now dropped with HVO 100, even the surcharge of 10 cents per liter is irrelevant.
I can only recommend it and am more than satisfied with SKN's performance. There hasn't been a single day when the Eco 75 tuning has caused any problems. On the contrary, it seems to cope perfectly with the car as it drives now and to get the best out of it. I will certainly come back with the next car (if it has a combustion engine).

Good service & result!!!
The difference in performance is noticeable (... 50 hp more), as is the consumption of approx. -0,7l. I did it so that the consumption drops significantly and I save money as a result.
